The 2004 Missouri legislative session began January 7th at Noon. Among important dates for this year's session are:

January 21 - Governor's State of the State Address
This is also when the Governor's Fiscal Year 2005 proposed budget is released.
(Note: This date had been changed to January 20th, but has been changed back to January 21st.)

March 18 - Spring break begins for the legislature until March 29th

April 8 - Easter break begins for the legislature until April 13th

April 29 - Last day for Introduction of Bills (tentatively)

May 7 - All appropriations bills must be Truly Agreed and Finally Passed

May 14 - Session ends at 6:00 p.m.

September 15 - Veto Session begins
